Clemson wide receiver Roscoe Crosby is expected to enroll in a three-hour class next month.

Crosby met with Joe White, Clemson's academic advisor for the football team, Wednesday to discuss his options. Crosby is expected to enroll in a three-hour class within his major that begins on June 9.

Crosby, a two-sport star, left Clemson in March to concentrate full-time on a professional baseball career with the Kansas City Royals' organization.

However, Muzzy Jackson, the director of the Royals' minor league farm system, told reporters that Crosby had left the team earlier this month to return to school. In 2001, Crosby caught 27 passes for 465 yards, both school freshman records.  It is unlikely that Crosby will play for the 2003 season.  But Bowden and the Clemson department is trying everything to prevent that.  If they are unsuccessful Crosby will have 2 years to play starting in 2004.  It appears that Crosby forfieted his contract to the Kansas City Royals when he enrolled in summer school at Clemson.  We will see what will happen with him, lets wish him luck!!
